"When Les Bours School of Hope first opened, a medical missions team went to Haiti to provide physicals for each student. Out of 120 children, only five of them were deemed “healthy” and not needing medication. The people we serve are among the poorest of the poor. Skin infections itch, spread, and fester due to their unclean water and poor living environment. Without access to basic things like antibiotic cream or antibacterial soap, we have seen the smallest infection spread resulting in amputation or even death. Nearly every day our school nurse treats foot fungus and infected cuts from walking barefoot in trash on disease ridden streets."

Cheryl Vanderwell (an RN - and my wife) will be traveling to Haiti from March 21 to March 28 to help Haiti Foundation Against Poverty as part of a medical team. The funds needed are her costs to travel down and stay there (approximately $1850).

Whether it be $1, $5 or $500 we would love to have you be a part of what she and the medical team are doing. Thank you for helping us reach this goal.
