Segyu Monastery and Prayer Hall Support

To assist this precious monastery's mission in building a new prayer hall that will accommodate their growing monastic community and is worthy of this important Tantric University.

At this time Segyu Monastery is the only Tantric University in our tradition. Due to the current conditions, which has led to the loss of the support they experienced in the past, one of the most significant aspects of this project will be Segyu’s ability to accommodate and house monastics from all of the great Gelug monasteries as they continue with their Tantric studies. Many lamas are working together to create a new comprehensive study program, which will protect and ensure the continuation of this pure, unbroken Tantric Lineage of Je Tsongkhapa.

Together we have made great accomplishments in the construction of the new prayer hall but still have a ways to go to completion. Your support also helps to support the growing amount of mini monks we have now since the earthquake, as well as the senior monks who care for them.
