Seeing her family

There is absolutely no reason you should donate to this fundraiser but I'm hoping you all read my story and can help me out. Her and I met on a website (not a dating website, get real!...seriously it wasn't a dating site), we hit it off pretty good. She was married and I was single, so yet again I managed to land directly into the friend zone. As we chatted more and more, it became quite clear that things weren't all kosher in her marriage. I'm not one to break up a marriage nor a relationship. After about 2-3 months, I broke the "ice" and asked blunty what in the blue hell was going on.She explained to me how they met and drove up from the south and things were fine for a while then a "switch" just went off and he started trying to control her and beat her. This of course made me extremely upset as nobody should hit anyone period regardless of gender. I gave her my phone number and told her anytime she needed anything call it I'll be there. I've done this thing before and thankfully my phone never rang. So numbers exchanged and a few weeks later, My phone rings. It is her! I instantly get a pit in my stomach as this is the first time she has ever called and I haven't spoken to her all day. I answer and she is clearly upset and in tears. I ask what is going on and she says he has gone off the deep end and is hitting her. Shes locked in the bathroom. So I hang up with her and call the police in her area. She calls me a few hours later and says the police said she can't stay there, so without a 2nd thought I tell her to come down here and she can stay as long as she wants until she gets back on her feet. While staying down here she manages to get divorced from the husband and starts to rebuild her life yet again. About 6-7 months later, I tell her that she is an extremely amazing person and I'd like to take her out on a serious date one night if she is ok with that. Well the date went off without a hitch and we've been through everything in the last 5 years. We've lost jobs together, we've been stranded on the side of the road together, we've graduated college, we've moved, and we've moved again! I can't picture my life with anyone else, I've given up everything for her and she is honestly the only thing that keeps me stable in life.One sore subject that has effected us greatly has been her family. They live down south, we are up north. Her family can't/won't fly/drive/train/bus up here. We'd like to fly down there but the money is just way too much for us to afford. Flordia I know isn't that expensive in terms of flying and most flights are direct as well..it is flordia who wouldn't wanna go there! But then I have to factor in food/hotel/rental car and that is where the problems come.I'd like to surprise her with a trip down there for 3 days 3 nights to see her family and meet them finally. She has met mine (unfortunately) and I'd like to at least meet hers before we get married. When you donate to this fundraiser I will include your name in the card I plan on surprising her with.
