Scotland or Bust!

I'm a girl who loves adventure, dreams of travel, absorbs history and seeks culture. Ironically, I am a girl who has never left the country. “You've never left the country? Well that's something we shall have to remedy, isn't it?”  I’ve taken short trips for someone’s special occasion or a few days of camping but other than sitting through a six hour sales pitch for a free cruise I've never taken a real vacation. The stark pages of my passport are bare. There is so much I want to see and experience, photos to take, foods to taste, friendships and memories to make. 

This summer two of my best friends are taking my dream vacation and I want more than anything to join them. At the end of June they will be traveling to Ireland, Scotland and Amsterdam for ten days. I'm excited to see all of these wonderful countries but I've wanted to travel to Scotland ever since I can remember and now is my chance. I want to explore the lands where William Wallace "consumed the English with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse." See the birthplace of the Titanic and explore the bridges and canals of Amsterdam.

I’m trying to save up enough money, pinching pennies where I can, but I haven't been able to reach my goal. I've got a few money making plans up my sleeve, donating plasma, selling some things I own, an upcoming yard sale to name a few. But I still need help to make my dream adventure possible.

Every dollar will get me closer to my dream trip. I am grateful for anything you can give and for your help in making these wonderful memories that will be with me for my lifetime.
