School trip to the Galapagos Island and Ecuador

Hi, my name is Marissa and I am a 17 year old senior at Oak Hills high school. I was just recently selected to go on a class trip at the end of the school year (June 2017) to the Galapagos Island and Ecuador. Some of the places that we will also be visiting on this trip is Santo Domingo Monastery, Isabel Island, the Charles Darwin Research Station & Santa Cruz Highlands. I have always wanted to go to South American and this is probably my one and only chance to go. One of the things that we will be doing on this trip is studying different species of animals and for me, that is the most exciting part. I am a huge animal lover and this is like my dream trip. The cost of this trip is $4100, and I have to make a $508 payment each month, for the next 8 months. I only work part time after school and on the weekends. I will also be helping my mom at her work if and/or when they have work for me to do. I'm not 100% certain how I am going to make this work financially yet, but I am very determined & I am hoping and praying for the best. I will be saving every penny that I get, but unfortunately, I still will not have enough money to go on this trip with my income alone. I've never had to do anything like this before and I wanted to let everyone know that any donation, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated!

I also plan on documenting my entire trip. When I return home from my trip, I plan on creating a timeline of my trip by using all of the pictures and videos that I take; then I will post it online for everyone to see.
