School Survival Guide

WHO WE ARE: A 501(c) 3 nonprofit; Christ-centered juvenile delinquency prevention & diversion OST (Out-of-School Time) program for at-risk juvenile offender males located in Tampa, Florida. Services include character development, mentoring, community service, and extra-curricular activities.

MISSION: 2ND C.H.A.N.C.E Center’s mission is to reduce recidivism and prevent boys and young men from interacting with the department of juvenile justice by providing gender specific programming and positive out of school activities.

 CORE PHILOSOPHY: 2ND C.H.A.N.C.E Center’s core philosophy is that every boy and young man deserves a 2ND chance to achieve their goals and become a successful adult, despite the mistakes they have made or barriers in their life. Through utilizing a strength-based approach within a social-ecological & faith-based framework; boys will be less likely to become engaged in delinquent behavior.

2nd C.H.A.N.C.E Center 4 Boyz needs your help!!! With your donation you can help prepare the boys in our program for the upcoming school year. On August 10th we will be giving away backpacks, school supplies, a 2nd Chance T-shirt, and a pair of shoes to approximately 25 at-risk boys that we serve!!! Yet we are about $2,200 away from our goal to make it all happen. Will you consider making a donation or sponsoring one of our boys?
