Campaign Story
The government is ignoring science and the British Veterinary Association by continuing to allow free-shooting of badgers here in Somerset. Three of the most eminent scientists in the UK demanded that the Government stop culling badgers immediately only last week.
The cull has begun now and SABC & friends will be out day and night to watch over the badgers living in the cull zone between Exmoor & the Quantock Hills. It is a large area which requires a great deal of time and money to keep us all in fuel and cover communication costs and keep us on the road.
We are part of a network of groups here who are the last line of defense for badgers.
So far the three badgers found shot in the cull zone over the last two years were tested and found to be healthy & TB Free.

Thank you so much for all you are doing to fight this vile cull. We raised some money at the weekend - with a stall selling our clutter - outside our house in Kent at the weekend and are dividing the proceeds between the 3 counties. So many people told us how angry they were about this government's cruel and futile policy re badgers. Good luck.
