3 of my rescue pups came down with parvo and had to be admitted to the vets. Amber was in Langkawi and had to stay in the clinic for a week as she was very ill with the disease. Her 2 sisters had been adopted in Ipoh and had only arrived 2 days before they starting showing symptoms.
They went to the clinic in Ipoh and once dropped off the new family said they did not want the girls back. These poor sisters only needed 4 days in the clinic but ended up having to stay for 13 days as I had no where for them to go. Thankfully they have now been adopted.
I am fundraising for their outstanding bills, the cost of transporting the sisters to the new family and also for a rescue of mine boarding in Penang after her family couldn't keep her. They are sharing the boarding cost with me as at the moment she cannot be rehomed as she's very scared of strangers which makes her bitey.
As a rescuer there are always new pups to save which leads to vet bills to pay. There are babies to be wormed, deflead and new homes to be found for. There are mumma dogs to be spayed and released.
Donations received will first clear my bills listed above. Any extra donations will be used for the next rescue case. I also have a few pups that are being cared for by a local foster carer so funds are always needed for food, vaccinations and eventually desexing. These pups range from being paralysed, poisoned or simply too young for adoption and I'm incredibly lucky to have someone caring for them.
I really need your help to settle these bills and to continue helping the dogs in Langkawi.
Thank you for your time and hopefully your support.
