L7YD Save Our Schools

Another school was burnt down in Soshanguve, making it the fourth school in our community to be destroyed during the nationwide lockdown. Phuthanang Primary School in Block K admin block was torched, burning down electronic equipment such as computers, printers, photocopying machines and furniture as well as stationery were destroyed. Damage for the valuable equipment and furniture was estimated at R600 000.

L7 Youth Development is requesting assistance in fundraising to assist in refurbishing Phutanang Primary School. Our program involves donating electronic equipment, furniture, and building material to the school and assist in fixing the school.

Any contribution of any size is welcomed and will go a long way in ensuring that vulnerable school children in our community have a school to attend after the lockdown period.
