Opera was once considered an elitist artform that excluded black people of South Africa. In the past 25 years or so that has changed a lot and more people of color have become professional opera singers and have brought so much joy and pride to audiences around the world. The recent death of an opera singer has highlighted the plight of most South African opera singers and the depression that plagues most South African opera singers. I would like to collect money to tied some opera singers over for the Christmas season. If you help us to collect 100 hundred thousand rands, we can cover at least 20 families. Think about it. And we will be organize a beautiful Christmas concert to bring good tidings to you and your family. Thank you in advance.
