Campaign Story
The Rose and Crown Pub is set in the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by 150 acres of woodland hiding a wealth of footpaths linking, amongst others, the site of the old Shottenden Mill, an Iron Age earth works, the Drawing room and the famous Pulpit (504ft above sea level) with its magnificent views of the surrounding Kent countryside and villages. The community spirit has been lost and we nee funding to buy the failing pub and bring the community back we would like to do walks in the kent downs which is on the doorstep of the pub We spoke to the locals who said they used to go into the pub but they won't go back in at the moment because the landlord is rude the pub is up for sale and we have ask the community if we took it over would you come back and they said yes Please help and share this link we need your support to give this 16th centry pub a new life
