Our school is at the verge of closing down and the owners have notified us that they will not be continuing with the school in the next academic year and our children are grade 8, 9, and 10 respectively. They don't have a school to go seek admission at and it is too late. We as the parents were shocked to receive these news and the owners of the school have refused to meet with us to discuss this matter. We have met and agreed that for the sake of the teachers, who will be without employment after the 9th December 2015 and the kids will not find a school to enroll to for admission next year. We discussed this with the principal of the school who has agreed to stay on if funds could be raised to establish a school for our children to progress to the next grades.
We are dreaming big about this establishment, but what boils down too briefly is that, donation from anyone in the world could establish this school and due to the experience of the teachers we have, this could be a world class school with a computer lab, a science lab and a library.
Saving this school is saving our children and future South African leaders.
Thanking you for your generosity.
