Save My Friends Home From A Tax Sale

Help save my best friend's home from a tax sale to be held 11-16-16. Over the course of the latest 5 years, she selflessly gave all that she could, financially, physically and emotionally to be able to act as hospice nurse to her father who died of bone cancer and her mother who passed from ovarian cancer. In a very short period following these tragedies, her boyfriend of 8 years unexpectedly passed away before his fiftieth birthday.

She voluntarily left the work force to spend every last precious minute and every last precious dollar to make this sacrifice of love. Last year she was stricken with rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and wrists and can no longer be able to return to the work that she had done all her life prior to her parents becoming ill.

No doubt, she will eventually receive disability from Social Security, but by the time her application is processed, her home that she owns outright - her mother's home - will be sold at auction for the nominal price of the outstanding property taxes, leaving her daughter and her without a home.
