We urgently need a car for our animals, please help!

We are Croatian animal sanctuary Blue Cross (Plavi Križ), dedicated to saving animals. Other than cats and dogs, we also take care of sheep, pigs and a goat. We currently provide a permanent home to over 50 different animals, but since we started many years ago we have also provided a temporary home to a few thousand cats and dogs which have in the meantime found their forever homes. The full practical, physical and emotional care for the animals is provided by us, the two women.

All our animals are living in cohabitation with each other and with us. Dogs and cats are prancing in the house and yard, and herbivores have big meadows and barns in the yard of the house (even though we sometimes keep them in the house on special occasions like when they have health problems and need intensive care).

Our house is located in a village Vinkovec, Preseka, which is located by the woods away from the big cities. Because of that, we are dependant on the car which literally saves lives by allowing us to take animals (which are on our both permanent and temporary care) to the vet and we have to take someone almost every day, sometimes even multiple times (if we can't take them together or if we need different vets). The car also enables us to pick up animals which are coming in our care, take them to their forever homes, buy things they need, pick up volunteers if they don't drive (because there is no public transport near us) etc.

The sanctuary doesn't have it's own official car, but we were using the private car of one of us. During it's short life, that car traveled over 500.000 km because of the animals. The car which we used before this one was also private, and it already reached 500.000 km after one engine change. We use the cars as long as they can function, but after that amount of travel but also visually (after different animals were driven in them and bit them from inside) they become useless with time.

Our mechanic told us to say goodbye to the car which we are currently using. Soon we have technical review (which is mandatory in Croatia and car can't be driven unless it passes this review) and this car has no way of passing which will basically leave us without a car that we can use. Our private financial situation is very bad at the moment and we don't have any way to buy any kind of car, and especially not a car that is big enough to allow us to drive not only cats and dogs, but also pigs and sheep and goats, as bigger cars are even more expensive.

We tried to research loans and leasing options but since we are dependant on donations and we don't have enough of them, we are not eligible. At the moment, our only hope (and only hope for the animals) is to collect enough money for the car, which for us seems impossible.

Based on prices of used cars which we checked, we need at least 13.000 EUR to obtain a used car which would be big enough and useful for now, but probably not for long. We would need around 20.000 EUR for used car that is in really good shape so that we can drive it longer until it wears out, so we don't get quickly in the same situation as now. Other than the cost of the car alone, we have to pay the tax and technical review and insurance and other costs that arise when buying a car.
