Save Davis Christian Academy

Hello family, greetings in the Mighty name of Jesus. I extend our love from Uganda and are thankful to God for his arm of protection over us all through at the same time we grieve with those who have lost their beloved ones due to the pandemic.

In the wake of this pandemic earlier this year in March our government issued a total lock down of the country and everything from businesses, churches,schools closed including our own Davis Christian Academy. Upon closure we have waited in hope that all things will open up eventually though its coming at a greater cost due to accumulating rent areas yet there is no expected income and this has become a growing burden to us as a ministry.

Davis Christian Academy is a preschool that was created to help teach children in Jinja and has run for the past 18 years teaching kids from 3 years to 5 years offering the much needed christian and holistic foundation in the lives of these tender souls. in the beginning, we have had a monthly donation of $550 which was very generous until the last 3 years where it stopped and we solely depended on the small revenue generated from some well to do parents who also wanted to have their children study with us.

As a Director to this school, as well as Providence World Mission Uganda, (non-profit), I have been struggling to keep it going because we didn't want to lose the good foundation both academic and spiritual. Now as we continue to wait for school that's been projected to restart next year, we have come to a tough and painful decision to end our contract with the school premises land Lord(A place we have called home for a very long time) and this decision would mean payment of the backlog accumulated over the closed months and pay the due costs from January to June 2020. We are in need of $2500 for the 7 months.

Our resolve is that we utilize this year to put up temporary structures at the mission house land in order to help our continuing classes complete their academic year. I hereby want to request you to help raise this money to help us settle our ministry debts which is growing monthly
