Campaign Story
The Cat Museum of Singapore, a sanctuary for rescued strays, will soon shut down for good.
For the past 3 years, we have rescued and found loving homes for over 300 orphaned cats and kittens. We have also educated the public on responsible cat parenthood and run numerous kiddie cat camps to nurture empathy and compassion in children from a young age.
In September 2017, we received an enforcement notice from the authorities that prevented visitors from meeting and adopting the orphaned cats and kittens. This further angered our landlord who has refused to renew our lease, nor return our deposit of $21K and we will be evicted by June.
The strays in Singapore are living on borrowed time. In the past few years, there has been an increase in cases of cats being tortured and murdered. They have been decapitated, stabbed, poisoned and thrown from high rise buildings. Those that survive, suffer tremendous pain.
With your help, we can continue our mission of "Sharing Love, Saving Lives" indefinitely if we buy a property. You will be saving them from this mindless and cold-blooded brutalization. Without us, they will have nowhere else to go.
