Save A Young Doctor

Dr Mehedi Hasan Robin, a 30 year old young Surgeon is currently working in Bangladesh Army medical core as a Major. He also served as an officer of the United Nations Peacekeeping forces in Africa.

He is also a father of a 4 month old son.

Recently he diagnosed with "Alveolar soft part sarcoma" in his leg, a cancer of the muscle. Unfortunately, his cancer already at stage 4 when diagnosed, that means it is already spread to different other parts of the body.

He needs immediate funding to start his treatment. He will be treated in Singapore National University hospital. Alveolar soft part sarcoma is a rare disease with poor prognosis with neoplasm of unknown histogenesis. Specific molecular characteristics identification is required for effective target therapy. So it may take time for proper evaluation & exact treatment protocol. There is no role of chemotherapy. Only target therapy may be started as trial basis which is likely to be costly as like 5000 sing dollar per month (equivalent to 2835.69£), which is a massive amount for a young surgeon from a developing country to bear.

His doctor will arrange a special medical board on 05 March 2019, where they will discuss the treatment plan. We will update in this regard as soon as a treatment plan decided.
