Save a woman from abusive husband

Hello good people. This fundraiser was started to help us remove our close neighbour from her abusive husband. She is scared to ask for help, and he is very agressive and violent. He has a drinking problem, which makes the matter worse. We have placed a 4000 dollars goal, which should be enough to send her somewhere safe, away from him, and enable her to start her own life. We all know that today women are more and more being violated and abused by their partners, and it has to stop. The police can't do much, they just lock him up for a day or two, which does nothing. He just returns and goes his way again. The woman is 28 years old, no kids (thank God), and just needs a little help to create her own life, away from that monster. Any donation is very welcome.
