We're Save A Dog Cy, and we're here to help the dogs who need it the most, the ones who are caged and begging to be loved. We provide a one-of-a-kind new experience that combines the convenience of working online with the satisfaction of knowing you saved an innocent friend's life. With our website and app, we've elegantly gathered and grouped most of Cyprus dog shelters, allowing you to completely avoid the hassle of having to take hours out of your day to travel to your nearest shelter, only to need another week to 'finalise details,' putting you in the way of your new family. When Junior Achievements offered us the chance to finalise and establish a business with the support of the school, all five of us were eager to take advantage of the opportunity, combining our desire to better our country, give back to our community, and our love for animals. The choice to build a portal for stray dogs was a simple one. Depending on the animal, you may also save on housebreaking and training expenses.

There are numerous reasons why adoption is so important; the number of animals euthanized might be drastically reduced if more people adopted dogs rather than buying them. Adopting a loving animal into your household saves them from euthanasia and frees up shelter space for another animal in critical need. Animal shelters and rescue organizations are bursting at the seams with happy, healthy creatures simply waiting to be adopted. The majority of shelter pets ended up there due to a human issue such as a move or a divorce, not because the animals were bad. Many have already been trained to live in their own homes and are accustomed to living with families.
