Send Sarah to COP 26 to Lead on Climate Change Empowerment

I have been offered an opportunity to attend and participate (credentialled with a badge) in the 2021 United Nations COP 26 meeting. This international climate change meeting is THE place where climate policy and climate action happen.

I will be representing the U.S. ACE Coalition (Action for Climate Enhancement) while participating in events in Glasgow, Scotland during the first two weeks of November. As a member of the USACE Coalition, I will help host side events, press conferences, and networking events at COP26 to feature ACE work in the U.S. and promote ACE as critical to climate solutions. This huge learning opportunity will allow me to contribute my expertise and passion for climate change education to this movement. I will also meet with leaders from around the world who are fighting for climate change education action and a future we all want to be part of.

I will also meet up and engage with the Laudato Sí Movement and the World Association for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts' Girl-led Action on Climate Change representatives.

This is all a very last minute opportunity that has come my way and yet it does not include funding to cover my travel, expenses, and carbon offsets for two weeks. I thank you for considering sponsoring me and this important work.
