Same sex couple – 5 years infertility – denied NHS help

Me and my fiance have been together 10 years, we've got a lovely life and home.

We wanted children and used a donor for 5 years, and never achieved pregnancy.

We took a step to seek fertility help, and was denied it as we are a same sex couple and would need to do 6 lots of self funded IUI's in a private clinic before we were offered funding for a further 3 IUI's.

We both broke down in tears, after 5 years of infertility, suffering with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome & now been told I am not eligible for funding until I have funded 6 IUI's privately has made me lose any hope I had left.

The specialist is predicting that my eggs aren't being released, despite them being there. Which means without specialist help, me and my partner, we will never be able to have children!

Despite the rules stating that opposite sex couples would be eligible for funding, but not same sex, completely discriminatory.

6 x IUI's privately with donor sperm can cost upto £7000.

Please if you can spare any money to help me achieve my dream, I would be forever grateful.

Without this, I feel I will be childless my whole life :'(

(I usually wouldn't ask anybody for money but I am resorting to this as a last chance of hope)
