Sailing for Diabetes

Eddie Crane is a type 2 diabetic who wants to raise awareness around the world in support of Diabetics and the challenges they face in life. Diabetes takes so many lives when they are unable to manage it correctly. As a type 2 diabetic, he is gearing to sail in the worlds biggest and physically challenging clipper race.

This will be his second attempt to do this and was unable to finish in 2009 due to funding.

In 2019 he is ready to bring Diabetes to the foreground and wants to make the entire race and fly the flag of consciousness.

We are looking for funding to help him make this possible and be able to stand up for those struggling to lead a normal life due to the illness and lack of understanding of how much it impacts them and their families.

Through this cause, we will assist charities that provide medication and support to those who cannot afford it through other methods of sponsorship as he sails around the world.
