Campaign Story
Sweet Sadie was picked up as a stray dog running around Khayalitsha - an informal settlement in the Western Cape. Speaking to people on the street a sad story was explained. They would not say where she came from, only that she had been the poor mother of many litters of puppies and every time she tried to get back to them she was stoned!!! Hence all her scars.
She now had sarcoptic mange as well. She is grossly underweight.
On taking her in we realised how sweet she actually is. This lovely girl REALLY deserves another chance at finding happiness. She will find a loving home where she will never have to worry about food or babies ever again! She has since been sterilized, vaccinated and has been started on a nutritious diet.
We desperately need funding for further medical treatment and rehabilitation and assessment for this gorgeous girl before she can be healthy enough to rehome!
