Ryan is not on a hospital plan. He actually did research on the day he injured himself to get onto one, and Murphey's law he injured himself and he could lose his right hand index finger. He cut his hand as well as his index finger really badly with a Makita circular saw.

Ryan needs at least R49,000 for the operation. At this stage as I write this, he is in the operating theatre. We will only know once he comes out if his finger can be saved.

Regardless of that, if he needs to stay a few extra days they won't let him as he doesn't have the money. I am concerned that he might not get the care he needs because of lack of funds.

He feels like a tool (no pun intended) for not being on medical aid, and he will get onto one right away, but they won't pay for the injury.

Any donations would be welcomed. This is a legit, safe site and the best means to ensure it gets to the right person, in this case, Ryan.

Three people will win a coffee table or TV cabinet to the value of R5,000. Ryan will make it himself, and he's really an excellent craftsman in my unbiased opinion so it will be a beautiful piece of furniture. Unfortunately shipping costs are not included to those outside of South Africa.

Many thanks for your care and consideration.
