On March 9th, 1990, my brother Russell and I were born 3 months premature. The doctors said that we were still in the same amniotic sac at the time of our birth, which has a one in a million chance of happening. We were inseperable from the time that we were concieved. When I was 4 years old, Russell was diagnosed with lukemia. Since we were identical, I volunteered to give up my bone marrow to potentially save my brothers life. After a year of being constantly in and out of hospitals, giving blood, bone marrow, and whatever else my body had to offer... I lost my brother and my best friend. Shortly after his death, my father decided that he couldn't deal with the pain of loosing one of his sons and he left my family to fend for ourselves. Living with a young, single mother who worked a minimum wage job, our family did not have the finances to have a proper funeral for Russell and he has been buried with no tombstone for the past 18 years. I am trying to raise this money to be able to give my brother the proper funeral that he deserved and a tombstone to go over his grave. Please help me give Russell his tombstone.
