Running Half-Marathon to raise money for less fortunate children in Lesotho!

I’m apart of the Youth branch of the charity Penarth and District Lesotho Trust. I will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October to raise money for children out in Lesotho, South Africa. A small group of us will be taking the money out to Lesotho ourselves and teaching at local schools. The money will be given to schools that need basic supplies, building work, staff, toilets and creating a safe environment for the children. We will also be donating money to a very run down orphanage that takes in new born babies found on the street, money will be going towards beds, food, clothes, school fees, toys and helping to build a home for orphaned teenage mothers. None of the proceeds go to funding our own travel expenses or flights, all of the money is taken to children who need it out in Lesotho.
