Run for Tahaddi

"Run for a cause" and join Tahaddi on 11 November for the Beirut marathon.

This year, Tahaddi will be raising funds to support its Community Health Center. The Tahaddi Health Center (THC) is present in the heart of the community in Hay el Gharbeh, Southern Beirut. The THC offers a holistic health service, which includes curative care, health promotion and disease prevention, providing over 10,000 health-related consultations per year. Your donation will support the THC Medical Emergency Fund, which supports families struggling with chronic or emergency medical expenses, facilitating access to hospitalization for high-risk medical cases. Over the past year, the THC disseminated over $40,000 in cash assistance for health-related expenses.

Tahaddi's runs for a cause began early this year. On July 22nd, Tahaddi staff, friends, and a busload of children from the community in which we serve ran a 10 km against cancer as part of a fundraising effort for Tahaddi's community health center. We partnered with Dan from Run the World, who is in the middle of his challenge to run the world, completing 10 km runs in 206 countries by the 2020 Olympics. The run in Lebanon was to support cancer patients who are not able to receive needed treatment because of prohibitive medical costs.
