Ruck Headquarters is seeking to raise funding for Disabled Military Veterans Charities AND NEEDS YOUR HELP AND DONATIONS!!!

The continuing mission for Ruck Headquarters is to serve Veterans. Ruck HQ does this through a network of projects, assets, and partnerships that provide services to raise funds which support Veterans directly, Veterans Organizations, and Veterans Charities.

To accomplish these goals, Ruck HQ uses media platforms such as social media, news services, advertisements, campaigns, and subscriptions in order to grow, promote awareness, and prompt participation. Ruck HQ also develops partnerships and agreements with other organizations in order grow and maintain a network of collaborative efforts that are essential to the missions success.

Currently, Ruck HQ owns and operates a number of special projects aimed solely at generating continuous, year around funding for Veterans Charities. These projects include:

Operation Nijmegen
An annual charity event whereby Ruck HQ staff and affiliates participate in the VierDaagse Nijmegen 4-Days March for the express purpose of raising funds for Veterans Charities and to promote Veterans Disabilities and PTSD Awareness via social media platforms.

Words for Warriors
A News, Media, Writing, and Leadership Development Educational platform that seeks to collect stories, media, and other writings from Veterans worldwide, for the express purpose of turning them into book volumes for sale to generate continuous year around funding for Veterans Charities. The project is also a research based platform for the development and writing of Veterans News, and studies in Leadership, Military Leadership, Organizational Leadership, and Leadership Development.

Operation Vet-Trek
A partnership and collaboration project that plans, organizes, promotes, and hosts large scale (40km or longer in a single day) Ruck Marching Events anywhere in the world. The events are both a race, and for fun, require paid entry for all participants, and are used to generate funding for Veterans Charities, and promote awareness of Veterans Disabilities and PTSD. Events are a collaborative effort usually sponsored and held close to Military Installations, but can be anywhere. Sponsorship is a requirement to provide funding for event promotion at a minimum of 30 days prior, and through event completion. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes are awarded for those who enter as competitors. All other entries are marching for fun and to support Veterans Charities.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars National Home

www.vfwnationalhome.org/
The VFW National Home serves as a living memorial to America’s veterans by helping our nation’s veteran and military families during difficult times.

The VFW National Home was founded in 1925 as a place where the families left behind by war — mothers and children, brothers and sisters — could remain together, keeping the family circle intact even when their serviceman didn’t come home.

Today’s families face different challenges — reintegration, post-traumatic stress, high unemployment and rehabilitation from battlefield injuries, among others — and the National Home has evolved over our decades-long history to meet those changing needs.

Whether we help a family find strength and support close to home through our Helpline, or they become part of our campus community, military and veteran families can count on the VFW National Home to help them build better lives together.

Since inception, the program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $200 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.

The Fisher House Foundation also operates the Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members as well as the Hotels for Heroes program using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge.
