Campaign Story
Deon and Nezhey, a very special young couple are 7 months
pregnant. Nezhey was diagnosed with Endometriosis and has a risky pregnancy.
Both of them were employed full time. Deon was working as a sports coder and
really doing well in his career, however in the beginning of April, they were informed that the company would be
closing their offices in South Africa, so now he is unemployed and since it is
total lock down for Covid-19 period, he is unable to go out and find
employment. Nezhey works for a very small company doing polygraph tests and
unfortunately now during lock down, she is not receiving a salary. When she
goes on maternity leave she will not receive a salary either.
Both are extremely stressed about being unemployed as they cannot pay their rent
for the next few months until both are employed again. They are also concerned
on how they are going to pay the medical bills of childbirth as the medical
insurance does not pay the full amount.
This should be a joyful and happy time for them with their first born on the way, yet it is the opposite as they are stressed about losing the roof over their heads during this time.
I am humbly asking for help so they will be able to keep a roof over their
heads for the next 6 months until Nezhey can return to work and Deon can find
new employment. Every little bit will help hugely.
I thank you in advance and God Bless all who are willing and able to donate.
