Campaign Story
This is to reunite a lost south Atlantic medal with the long term partner of Karl Kirby who passed away last November 2019 no immediate family at is funeral and partner had to arrange his funeral and costs.
Karl Kirby was the Captain's Steward on HMS INVINCIBLE in 1982 and was on the first aid team who helped to bring in to the sick bay the casualties from HMS Glamorgan on the 12 June 82, and helped on the 15th June when Naval airman Brian Marsden was injured on the flight deck, I have extended the fundraising until August , I have arranged to purchase once the current lockdown is eased
The amount I am requesting is to cover costs and donatation to the south Atlantic medal association 82 charity . Please see this association on Facebook, Thank you all for your kindness
