Return to my family to support operation & recovery

Hello everyone,

My name is Kim Jung Ha and I am a student studying in Singapore.

I last saw my family members about 2 years ago before COVID broke out and since then I was not able to see my family due to travel restriction.

Last week, I heard the news that doctor found a tumor on my dad's throat and it has been confirmed to be the thyroid cancer. Before his operations, he will take few tests and it has been scheduled to be in 2 weeks time.

I am really afraid and worried about his operation and I really want to go back to support him but my family has been telling me to stay in Singapore because of the travel expenses and quarantine cost.

I can not confirm my return to Singapore and finish my studies as our family is having no income.

Unfortunately, none of my parents are able to work since last month and it will continue to be in the same state until sucessful operation and recovery.

I learnt my lesson that family always come first and nothing is more important than them.

I have been very lucky enough to study overseas, all thanks to my parents hard work and now I want to support them and stay with my family during the hard time.
