Research Costs for True Crime Book

I am a trained historian and attorney working in my first narrative non-fiction true crime book. Because of the historical nature of the crimes involved and the resulting court cases, which date from the late 1910s to the late 1920s, in order to access any existing court records I have to pay the Court Clerks office search fees to see if the files still exist and then pay copy fees if they are found. Search fees start at $30/hour, with copy fees being charged at an hourly and by the page rate. Funding from this campaign will help cover this research and any additional research costs I may have while working on the book.
