Rescued Animal Sanctuary Fund

This page is to raise money for something we all want to do. I saw a guy recently who wanted to make potato salad, you saw it too, right? He asked for $10 and got thousands upon thousands in response. So, my idea was that it would be great to set up an animal sanctuary here in Gloucestershire, UK which would give a forever home, or rehabilitation before a forever home elsewhere for rescued animals from farms or violent domestic situations.  I would proudly take influence from FRIEND sanctuary in Kent and all the others, sanctuaries which take such amazing care of animals that you can genuinely see a girl leaning against a sleeping cow, reading a book with a chicken resting on the cows back and a goat wandering up in order to get some love and attention from the girl. This is the sort of caring environment that animals should be subjected to, over suffering to be hauled off to an abattoir, to be mutilated and to end up on a plate. If a guy can raise thousands in order to make a mixture of potato, red onion and mayonnaise, when he only asked for $10. I'm hoping we can also make some money, asking for no direct amount (we've asked for $1.00 because it says we need to enter an amount) and with the will to save lives. The reason, without beating around the bush, for setting up a Gofundme account to do this, is that it's pretty hard to raise the money necessary with simply a job which pays the minimum legal wage. Yes, that's my fault for not paying enough attention in school and not getting A-Levels (but at that time I also ate meat, fish, dairy and eggs - so times change). I see this as a quicker way of getting those funds and a possible way at that. Of course, if this happens, you will all be welcome to camp out as often as you like! Thanks for your time.
