Renovate our Rehab

Over the past five years we have been treating in-patients with spinal cord injuries and strokes here in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. Our rehab unit building has been exposed to a lot of sun, rain and wind and the inside is always hot and quite dark due to the dark grey walls. We would like to fix our roof which is leaking and make the inside more colorful for our patients who have to stay here, usually over a period of a few months to a year. Since we are building a new wash block for patients and their families, we will be able to rearrange a room for storage and our staff which both will have to be equipped.

We have partnered with the Hôpital de la Convention Baptiste in Haiti since the Earthquake in 2010. Rehabilitation medecine is still a new field in Haiti. We want to continue to offer this service for anyone in Northern Haiti.

Since we are in the holidays season, if we have money left over, we would love to have a Christmas party with our patients and staff!
