Relocating for school

I am trying to raise money for my amazing god daughter Natasha to relocate to Texas from California. Natasha has been though some tough family issue being the oldest daughter of 7 children. Her mom and dad had a tough divorce when she was 13. She was put in the unfortunate position of being the mother figure to her 2 brothers and mother for quite a number of years not allowing her to enjoy her teen years as she should have. Fast forward a few years, she moves in with her dad and his new family only to be treated as nanny and maid for her parents and 3 young siblings. I know a lot of people are put in this situation, but my husband and I would love to be able to help her break this cycle of co-dependency and allow this very bright and loving child to expand her horizons. Leaving a very different legacy for her future children.

Natasha is now 21 years old and a straight A student and the local Jr. College in California. She would love to attend University of Texas Austin to get her degree in Special Education. We are very excited that on a recent visit she made the decision to move in with my family and finish out her Jr. College classes in Spring, TX. This will allow her to start the Texas residency process, as well as, give her the opportunity to live in a home where she is able to start making decision for herself instead of how it impacts the rest of the family.

We have the space to provide her a room of her own and the love to welcome her and support her on her journey. We are just struggling with the finances to get her back home to say goodbye to her family, get her things and come back to TX. It is for this reason we are humbling seeking assistance from you. Anything will help and we will be blessed and deeply appreciative of the support.
