Help us to recover our stolen drone

Hello! My name is Valentina and I'm fundraising for my friend, who’s RPAS instructor in our country, Peru. A few weeks ago, a motorcyclist from a company dedicated to courier service disappeared along with the shipment, which was a Mavic 2 Zoom (with all batteries and the smart controller). At that time we tried in various ways to communicate with the person in charge of the shipment; however, we were unsuccessful (he started rejecting our calls and then turned off the cell phone) and to this day we have not been able to locate him. The shipment never reached the agreed destination.

For many people, a drone is a toy or something recreational, for my friend it’s his main work tool, since he is dedicated to training and RPAS training in the country. To carry out this work, this drone was registered with the competent authorities: MTC and DGAC (this is the equivalent of the FAA in the USA)

As a result of this incident, all scheduled operations have had to be suspended. Although every effort is being made to raise the necessary fund and acquire a replacement for what was stolen, it is difficult to reach the goal without having the main work tool.

(ESP) Hace unas semanas, un motociclista de una empresa que se dedica al servicio de courier, desapareció junto con el envío, el cual se trataba de un Mavic 2 Zoom (con todas las baterías y el smart controller). En ese momento intentamos de varias formas comunicarnos con la persona encargada del envío; sin embargo, no tuvimos éxito (él empezó a rechazar nuestras llamadas y luego apagó el celular) y hasta el día de hoy no lo logramos ubicar. El envío nunca llegó al destino acordado.

Para muchos un drone es un juguete o algo recreativo, para mi amigo es su herramienta principal de trabajo, dado que se dedica a la capacitación y entrenamiento de RPAS en el país. Para realizar esta labor, este drone se encontraba registrado ante las autoridades competentes: MTC y DGAC (este último es el equivalente a la FAA en USA)

A raíz de este incidente, todas las operaciones programadas se han tenido que suspender. Si bien se está haciendo todo el esfuerzo posible para recaudar el fondo necesario y adquirir el reemplazo a lo que fue robado, es díficil llegar a la meta sin tener la herramienta principal de trabajo.
