Why We Need Your Help
Our small church, Dolomite Pentecostal located in Dolomite Alabama is filled with the Spirit of God and loving caring members. Our sanctuary only seats about 75 people; the choir stand only seats 10. When our founder passed away a few years ago, we had to have his Home Going Service at another church. Unfortunately, that's the case with funerals, weddings, etc. We are a church on the move and have a need to expand. We have already purchased land and want to start breaking ground as soon as we can raise $50,000 towards a new building. Without your support (because we have such a small membership) this may take an extremely long time.
How Your Donations Will Help
We are very excited about building a new church, and have started making preparations as well as growing our building fund through numerous fund raisers.
We want to strengthen and build our community by:
- Offering Vacation Bible School during the summers for the children in our community; providing a safe spiritual learning environment. (Currently the only space we have to accommodate this is the sanctuary)
- Offer affordable Day Care by converting our current church into a Day Care facility. Bring jobs to the community by staffing the Day Care with local personnel.
- Start a clothes closet, offering clothes and shoes to needy people in the community at no cost. (We don't have enough space to do this currently)
There are so many other things we would like to do once we have a facility large enough to accommodate them. That's why I decided to reach out and ask for support. Any donation large or small will be appreciated more than you can imagine.
All donors that give $100 or more will have their names engraved on a dedication wall plaque to be placed in the foyer of our new church.
