Reaching for the American Dream

Daily life can really weigh you down. I know how that weight can feel which is why I want to first say thank you for taking the time in your busy life to read this.

I am hoping to secure the last bit of funding needed to finally reach my dream of owning my own business. For a decade I managed multiple locations for a company that specialized in appliance home delivery and installations for 3 major retailers. I managed locations in Minneapolis, Detroit, Columbus, San Francisco, Las Vegas and San Diego. The company I was employed with was a middleman broker between the major retailers and the independent contractors making the deliveries. I learned every aspect of the home delivery industry and perfected my communication skills, organizational skills, Operations planning and efficiency. I have a track record of impacting change by putting in place action plans turning failing operations into profitable ones.

In May 2017, right after memorial day, I felt the impact of downsizing and my position was cut. Since then I have been offering consulting services to other home delivery companies just to pay the bills. It has been a tough 6 months for me and my family living in Southern California. Now I am starting my own business as an independent contractor making home deliveries for a well known furniture retailer. This is my chance to reach the American dream and be able to one day help support others trying to do the same. I have setup and registered my new LLC in the state of Nevada (Las Vegas) under the name Valensario Management, LLC. I have invested $12,000 of my own money for registering my LLC., filing for my DOT and Motor Carrier Permits, workers comp insurance cost and business insurances required. I am hiring 6 employees immediately and another 6 over the next year. I filled my initial positions with individuals who were recently let go from other delivery companies. I started this process in December and at that time the client anticipated the startup date being January 1. The client has pushed out the start date 4 times since December and now has finalized next week to begin.

So, why am I here asking for help?

In December after given the initial start date I secured the required insurances needed which had premiums due the last 2 months. The expenses incurred by the unexpected start date changes and monthly operating expenses were not anticipated when the budget planning was done. I have invested $12,000 of my own money in my new company startup and still needing funding for the operating expenses the first 2 weeks of operation. I'm reaching out asking for any help in reaching my $3000 goal. To show my appreciation for this help I will return the same support to another person in need in the future. As my business starts running I will pay it forward dollar for dollar to another person in need.

The money donated for this campaign will ultimately impact 2 people in the long run. I have always done good and have given my last penny at times to others in need. My faith in God has always been strong and I have faith that my past good deeds will come back in my time of need. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
