Re-establishing for a better future

Hey,

Nice to meet you. My name is Chris, and I'd like to tell you about me, if you have a moment. I'm a 25 year old country boy (I'm sure the ridiculous beard didn't give it away :) ) In my life, I've been a firearms instructor, a manager at a big box store, worked in many grocery stores and fast food chains, was a supervisior at a very large telecommunications company, was a gunsmith and salesman, and many other things. I've generally held multiple jobs at a time and have experienced many forms and functions of business. But, now I live in an area where jobs aren't always plenty and have been unemployed for a year. It is impossible to keep me down, so I've been doing everything from cutting grass to doing oil changes to afford rent. I am currently engaged to my beautiful fiancee and have been for a year now. She has a good job and we aren't complaining but I want to contribute more to her and our household. Our goal has always been for me to start my own small sporting goods store, since I've practically lived in them most of my life, as well as for her to pursue a career in entertainment (as a singer) which she is too busy working all the time to do. But one main goal is for us, and our baby (a little black kitten named huebey), to build our own self-sufficient solar and hydro-powered house. (on a side note i have experience with alternative power, building, and self-sufficient farming). But as of right now, we are kinda in a rut that we've been in for a time now. We have one old car that we share that needs alot of repairs, one cell phone, and an apartment. I'm not complaining at all, it's more than alot of people have and we live within our means. But we plan to expand our means with your help. All donations will be invested into our dreams, some to pay off the very minor debt we have (both of us were unemployed for 6 months but were still able to manage our debt) and the rest will be for me to start a business (i've been in many mom and pop businesses and have great mentors and support so that i can guarantee some level of success) and to ensure a future for us. The business start up is around $3000, the solar/hydro home is $50,000 and the land is around $98,000. We are working very hard to achieve our goals, we could just use a bit of a boost. All donations are appreciated beyond words and we know what its like donate, even when money is tight, so we understand if now's not the time for you to donate, but if you choose to please know that our hearts go out to you and we will always remember your help. Even if its a dollar, its one more dollar that we didn't have.
