Rare trip to USA

I know that you're probably thinking: What? Can't you pay for the tickets and stuff by yourself??????? It's not that expensive!

Yeah, for you, it probably is. But for us, mere 14 year olds trying to survive in a harsh environment, it isn't easy to receive money. We live in Singapore, one of the best places to receive education, or that's what I heard. They push us over our limits, crushing us under the weight of schoolwork and projects, stressing us over piles of homework. We are stressed to the point of wanting to burn down the school, to want to kill ourselves. We get a ton of homework to complete over the holidays, and for those with depression, time isn't on our side, its lethargy literally drains us of any motivation to even get out of work.

This trip will mean a lot to two teenagers, well, not yet teens, there's another year. But still.

With this trip, we would get to see the people who had managed to pull us out of our suicidal thoughts, who managed to keep us alive and tell us to keep on moving. They were the ones who brought me out of my darkness. We want to thank them personally, and by going to this convention held in America, Vidcon, we would be able to do just that. The best thing is, we get to travel away from the toxic country we were brainwashed to call home. We get to escape from the hatred our society holds, against our preferences, against our OWN opinions.

What happens if too much toxic gets into a person's body? They eventually die. I was too close to ending my life, and I want to keep living, but without YOUR help, I might not survive, and neither would my friend.

So please, I would get on my knees to beg but it's the internet, so I can't really. I sincerely ask you to help us, not only are you going to help us get a trip to somewhere that isn't Asia, but also saving our lives. Please, out of the kindness of your heart, help us.
