Ramazan food baskets

The project will primarily focus on these disadvantageous families to reach out for stable food consumption during the Ramadan fasting season. It gives new hope and the resiliency for these families to observe fasting and spend more time in offering Salah and engaged in spending the long fasting period spiritually.

This is to distribute 200 food parcel to the vulnerable women headed families in the rural villages in which the parcel contains the basic and enough food items to cover the month of Ramadan such as 10 Kg rice, 3Kg Sugar, cooking oil, 2 Nos of tin-fish, 5 Kg flour, Dry fish, dates, onion etc. The selection will be conducted in a much open and accountable manner with the social service officer in the Pradhasa sabha zones.

Iftar will be organized in eight different locations in the rural villages to cover the most vulnerable groups and communities. The locations such as mosques, schools, Madaras, community centres are selected in coordination with the respective volunteers of GER. These events will be gathered 500 individuals in the glorious month.
