auxiliary police officers confronted a man over use of a shared and abandoned bicycles. When auxiliary police officers realised they misunderstood the situation, they continued to harrass the man and demanded he show them his identity card. When he refused, security guards got touchy and manhandled guest unnecessarily. When he took out his phone to take a photo. The 2-3 security guards then tried to snatch the phone away and behaved aggressively. When the man walked away towards a crowd, about 4 auxiliary police officers pinned the man to the floor with excessive force, choking and immobilising his body and hands. One of them even kicked and punched the man in the head. Then an unhappy auxiliary police staff Goh Jun Xian broke the man's thumb. They continued to inflict pain despite being asked to stop. The man was held down in a chokehold position for about 5 minutes, despite showing no resistance at all. No reason was given for the "false arrest" . The man suffered breathlessness and begged the security guards to stop but they refused. He was then handcuffed and tied to a hospital bed with serious injuries and later transferred to a dingy, unmonitored cell in the hospital, an Aetos auxiliary police officer Goh Jun Xian physically ran through the victim's body, took his phone and wallet from the victim's pocket, tried to unlock his phone to delete his photo and went through the contents of his wallet. His ordeal lasted for more than an hour until police arrived and realised it was a false arrest that had no basis. The victim was a visitor who on several occassions volunteered his time to be there and to be service of others. A substantial sum of money also went missing after his wallet and phone was returned. An ambulance then took the man to the nearest hospital for treatment of injuries. The security guards, Aetos security management and IMH showed little guilt about what happened, was unresponsive and withheld critical video footage. The hospital claimed the assault was not clearly captured on CCTV and denied the incident. Police couldnt access CCTV records and the case was transferred many times before being closed. Instead of talking and solving the problem in a civil manner, some auxiliary police officers preferred forcing and threatening to get their desired result. IMH has the highest number of publicly reported cases of patient abuse by hospital staff. IMH volunteer opportunities are available on SGcares and on the IMH website. Bills have ran up to thousands of dollars after government subsidies and the victim's right hand, back and left elbow remain weak and painful. His injuries are chronic and likely to affect his future livelihood and daily activities. After this dark and difficult period, the victim now hopes to be able raise awareness security violence and hopefully raise enough funds to commence civil proceedings against IMH . IMH has repeatedly tried discredit the man's claims and reputation but he believes that the CCTV footage that IMH doesnt want to release will prove his story. He is trying very hard to forget traumatic accident and save up money for medical and TCM treatment. IMH and MOH has denied the incident and remains unaccountable. He has found and is still actively looking for witnessed and other victims to take legal action together. If you are a patient, a kin of a patient, a volunteer, please feel free to contact me. Singapore is a safe country, however police brutality exist in Singapore and it is usually unreported and covered up with fake news and occasionally false charges at the expense of the victim and to avoid public backlash or any undesirable lawsuits. If you see somebody being mistreated by Singapore police officers or security guards, film it to prevent it. Body camera are to protect the police, not victims of police brutality or administrative mistakes
