In August 2015 my younger sister Aimee went for her 24 week scan and discovered that her baby girl Amelia had died. It was hell on earth and not something you would wish on your worst enemy. We had a funeral in September where Amelia was buried with a small plaque put in place. She was so loved and so missed. She deserves so much more than a plaque. That's why I want to raise money for a stone. They are so expensive, the sort of amount the family cannot afford as much as we'd want to.

Aimee and her partner Stephen have been pillars of strength since losing their little one. They already have a family to support and £2000 is to high an expense in one go. They really can't afford it. They so deserve a beautiful little memorial for Amelia that they can visit. Right now, they don't have that.

The sort of headstone I know they would love ranges between £1500-£2000 with installation costs added also. Once the headstone is in place I'll post photos so you can all see the gift you have given us. It will be beautiful.

Once the amount needed is raised it should take up to a month for the stone to be made and then put in to place. It will last a lifetime and will be a beautiful testament to your generosity and caring hearts. Aimee and Stephen don't know I'm doing this and I can't wait to see their faces when they see all the money raised for their sleeping beauty.
