My 4 year old daughter is fully blind in her left eye and partially sighted in her right eye. She also has septo optic displasia and is cortisol deficient. She also had bilateral optic nerve hypoplasia. Niamh has 3 hormone deficiencies and has to have growth hormone injections daily and needs steroids every 8 hours (every 4 if she's poorly) We have 2 other children who have no health conditions. My partner works full time and I am a full time career for Niamh. We currently live in a council house and are waiting to be moved to a 4 bedroom bungalow so Niamh can have her own bedroom for medication purposes and because she keeps loosing her balance and falling down the stairs in the house. The council don't seem to be taking this seriously and have told us they don't have a 4 bedroom bungalow. We have asked for hand rails but they haven't turned up to fit them so we are looking for money for help towards making the house were in more safer and possibly for a deposit so we can buy her a 4 bedroom bungalow. I know this is a big ask but we are really concerned about her safety in the house and will use any money raised to do what we need to do for her our selfs i.e. Buying our own rail and fitting it ourselves.
