Raise Epilepsy Awareness to help people how severe it is after my father drowned in our own pool after having a seizure

My name is Pamela Luich.On July 22, my mom came home from work to find my dad floating in our pool and he was seemingly unconscious.She rushed over to the pool to pick his head up from out of the water to try to save him.But it was too late.My dad had a grand mal seizure, and while he was experiencing it, he drowned in our own pool.My dad had Epilepsy for his whole life because he had a very traumatic birth and the doctors assumed that he was going to die.By some miracle (and a lot of blood transfusions), my dad survived, even though the doctors were giving him his final rights.He grew up to be a wonderful husband to my mother and a wonderful father to his kids while he was taking medication to manage his seizures.My dad was paying the mortgage of our house, and now my mom cannot afford to pay for the house on her own.I chip in as much as I can, but I only have an entry position in my field and it is not enough.Our whole family is in shambles now that my dad has passed away.His funeral was on my birthday and it was by far the worst birthday I will ever have in my life!
