Queens Only

From MySpace to Twitter, to Facebook... Queens Only, an Empowering, Entertaining, and thought provoking blog, for and about Women, has convinced their fans as well as the masses, that it has staying power.

What began as a simple gathering place for ladies soon evolved over the course of 3 years to an estimated audience of followers of about 15,000 Women on MySpace. The subscribers spread the word like wild fire, inviting their female friends and family members to join in on the talk. It was truly an outlet for most... A great deal of Women even claimed that Queens Only was much like their daily newspaper. 

The more feedback Women gave on the topics, the more shout outs and exposure the Queens Only CEO would shed on those fans. People love to be seen and they love for their voices to be heard, especially Women! However, what I found even more interesting was that Men had also taken an interest in reading and responding to our Queens Only posts. 

The ride on MySpace was fun while it lasted, that was until Facebook crept onto the scene. MySpace began losing a great deal of it's fans, and just like that, Queens Only had to change with the times and keep up with what was new when it came to social networking.

Facebook has changed social networking, however, it's not the same as MySpace. We didn't have to know everyone's business on MySpace, yet when it comes to Facebook, we can't help but notice everyone's business in the news feed. Therefore, people aren't as comfortable as they were on MySpace when it comes to voicing their opinions on Facebook.

Queens Only receives lots of views on Facebook, but one of the main reasons why our fans are afraid to speak out on our topics are because they don't want their friends and family to know what interests them and what's on their minds.

It's time for Queens Only to take our brand to the next level! We have so many plans for the future of Queens Only.
