The National Cancer Institute of Canada (NCIC) acknowledges colorectal cancer as the third most common cancer. It is often misdiagnosed or not treated on time due to the embarassment of booking a colonoscopy appointment with a doctor. Also for a majority of people, talking about their digestive health can be quite embarrasing. A year and a half ago on November 16, 2011 my grandmother was diagnosed with colorectal cancer after deciding to seek a gastroenterologist. She is slowly recovering however everyday is a real challenge for her and we need YOUR help! Any amount donated would be very much appreciated.
