MONGOLIA

THE PROJECT

Nick and I would like to cycle from France to Mongolia in the aim to raise money for the RED CROSS.

what the Red Cross needs is a little bit more complex :

Constant funding for international aid and as much publicity as possible. We want to bring to light the countries hours spent by volunteers and workers around the globe improving the lives of those less fortunate. Taking the slow road of cycling to ensure that we get maximum exposure along the way.

Red Cross provide relief in times of crisis, care when it s needed most and commintment when others turn away. Red Cross is there for people in need, no matter who you are, no matter where you live. A beacon of hope when all other lights go out.

IMPACT

We don t want only to ride our bike across countries just to see the scenery...

We are planning to raise money and awareness for the Red Cross. We want to meet the volunteers in the countries along the way. We want to raise awareness for their local projects by posting videos and photos on a continuoustly updates blog and help out where we can. All while promoting the idea that we are capable of anything, as long as we put our minds to it !

FEASIBILITY

If we could we will leave right now, but we have to leave in september 2014 due the climate and also due to funding to the project.

The project will cost 12 000 euros each (30euro/day each) and it will take us more than one year to achieved it. (25 000km for a cause that knows limits no neither shall we.)
