Campaign Story
Our darling daughter was hospitalised from the 17th of January for 22 days, after undergoing scans and being subjected to a vast array of tests she was eventually diagnosed with Severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This trauma occurred in 2018, when she had fallen victim to a syndicate who targeted her for Human Trafficking. By the sheer grace of God, she narrowly escaped this horrific ordeal, but was left with deeply-rooted trauma that has reared it's head in January 2022. Update posted by Shirley Le Roux at 08:18 amNadine continues to inspire us with her wonderful attitude. She is such a blessing in our lives. She will begin EMDR therapy in 8 weeks, it is a form of somatic healing. Our treatments options are limited in SA but we remain positive for the road ahead.
