Proving My Kids that Solar Energy Works

I am trying to prove to my kids that Solar Energy is the way to go. They are hesitant and say that they cannot afford it. I am trying to educate them with care, love and responsibility. Is the actual economic situation world stronger than me?

I would love to be able to offer both a complete installation so that they will see the benefits and start advocating Solar Energy. It is for the good of their own future. If it is the only thing I leave behind me I will be satisfied.

Unfortunately my income is not enough to be able to do this without help. A solar panel is about 300 euro's a piece here in Europe, so I quickly put a full stop behind the project. Please help me prove my point ;-)
